Process of Microcontrete Flooring 


Process On Tile/Marble Flooring 

1 Sand The floor with Metal Grinder & Metal Diamond Wheel. 

2 Clean the surface ensuring there is no dust on the surface 

3 Apply 1 coat of Colortek Neogrip – F primer in thin layer – no dilution required 

4 Let dry for 8 hrs 


Application Process for Base & Topcoat 

 1. Apply 1st base coat of  base coat, polymer 3kgs, water 1 kgs, base coat filler 12 

kgs mix it well until all lumps are dissolved and it becomes a smooth paste. (3:1 

IS RATIO FOR POLUYMER AND WATER MIXING. 4:1 IS RATION FOR POLYMER 

WATER MIX WITH POWDER 

2. Apply in the thickness of 1-2 mm so that it gives you a coverage of 155 sqft 

approx.. 

3. Let dry for 1 day 

4. Sandin to be done by 30# grit resin pad – 8mm thick , Dcrf 7u – then sand with 

60# grit resin pad – 3mm 

5. Apply – 2 coats of polymer primer by diluting with water 1:1 ratio (1kgs polymer 

+ 1 kgs water) 

6. Keep a gap of 3-4 hours between the 2 coats of polymer primer 

7. After 3-4 hours of 2nd coat apply 1st coat of Colortek Neocement in the following 

ratio: 

Castle white 2.33 kgs (2kgs 330 gms) 

Resin – 0.470 gms (470 gms) 

Filler – 1.2 kgs (1kgs 200 gms) 

8. The color/pigment/tint is to be added 1st in castle white paste and mix it well 

before you add resin and filler, make sure the color is mixed well by mixing the it 

well and remove some material from the bottom to check any discoloration 

in very thin coat ensuring that you get a coverage of 540 sqft from 1 drum kit of 

colortek Neocement in 1 coat. 

9. Leave it for 1 day to dry 

10. And sand it with 150# sanding paper clean the surface from any dust using 

brooms and vacuum cleaner and then wet mop with a clean white cloth. 

11. Apply 2nd coat of colortek Neocement in same ration in very thin coat ensuring 

that you get a coverage of 540 sqft from 1 drum kit of colortek Neocement in 1 

coat. 

12. Let dry for 1 day then sand it with 150# grit sanding paper followed by 220# grit 

sanding paper  

13. clean the surface from any dust using brooms and vacuum cleaner and then wet 

mop with a clean white cloth 

14. apply decorator varnish by diluting it with water 1:1 ( 1kgs decorative varnish + 1 

kgs water) 

15. let dry for 4 hrs. 

16. apply colortek polylock in 2 coats in the ration of 3.84 kgs of polylock base (3kgs 

840 gms+colortek polylock hardener 840 gms+water dilution of upto 30-40% of 

total i.e. 1.868 kgs of water (1kgs 868 gms) 

17. keep a gapof 12-15 hours in between of the 2 coats and let the floor for curing 

for 72 hours with no movement on the surface. 

18. For giving a matt finish apply 1-2 coats of vr wb sealer in the ratio of 4:1:1 

4kgs base+1 kgs hardener+1 kgs of water 

19. Keep a gap of 4 hours in between the 2nd coat. and let the floor for curing for 72 

hours with no movement on the surface.
